Working as an User Experience Designer and participating in SEB’s International Trainee Programme will give you the unique opportunity to develop your professional skills in a modern and innovative company.

In your role at Customer Experience Design, you will be matching the customers’ needs with the business goals and strategies for SEB. YOUR TRAINEE POSITION AND YOUR TEAM

The core business of Customer Experience Design is developing SEB´s products by focusing on the needs of our customers. In your role at Customer Experience Design, you seek insights to pinpoint the customer´s needs and help colleagues in business development to understand the requirements. You will support the business to make sure that the vision and strategies are understandable as well as tangible and in line with the customer´s needs.

You plan, design and do qualitative customer research to visualize the customer´s needs in models and using prototypes to specify possible solutions. You use a holistic perspective to develop a strategy, meaning integrating cross channels, cross products and cross-organisation. When it comes to current solutions and the perception of what is possible you will need to challenge both yourself and the organisation.

We are looking for people who can challenge us and we will do everything we can for you to get a kick-start career in SEB. In return, we ask for this:

  • an academic degree in for example Engineering, IT, Behavioural Science, Data Science, Service Design or equivalent
  • you are, or will soon graduate and have some work experience
  • fluent in written and spoken English and Swedish

It is not a requirement but a plus if you have experience acquired through leading projects, have worked within customer service or other service areas and studied/worked abroad.

You believe in collaboration to achieve more and that teamwork is important to increase performance. In this role, you will need to analyse and understand complex issues and draw conclusions to make prototypes based on the results. You need to act on your own initiative and make things happen.
