Team Manager for the Data Lake at SEB in Stockholm
Would you like to work with leading a team of data lake developers dedicated to developing and maintaining data management solutions for a leading financial institution? The Business Intelligence department at SEB in Stockholm is looking for a Team Manager to join us on our exciting and transformational information journey.
You will primarily work with The Business Intelligence (BI) department currently consists of more than fifty professionals located in both Stockholm and Vilnius who develop and support our BI solutions utilizing Informatica tools. Separate streams focus on development of big data solutions, the enterprise data warehouse and administration of the Informatica platform. You will manage an agile team of 10-14 data lake developers. You will be responsible for the personal development of individual employees as well as the timely, high-quality delivery of relevant projects and maintenance. Delivery responsibility requires you to understand the scope and business requirements of the projects and maintenance objects you deliver. You will ensure that teams provide accurate project reporting and you will liaise with partners in the organization to ensure their satisfaction with the deliverables. Your responsibilities also include ensuring continuous improvements in project delivery and maintenance by implementing development best practices.
To succeed in your role with us you should have hands-on experience in both software development and team management. You have practical knowledge of big-data solution delivery based on Agile and DevOps principles, preferably from a financial institution. You demonstrate leadership skills that allow you to effectively manage a team of developers of various seniority and skill sets relevant to the area. A strong understanding of data warehouse and big data technologies, continuous delivery best practices, and of project/IT services management frameworks is an advantage.
