Racking Solutions is a growing business area and complementing our core business enabling us to meet customers´ demand within warehouse logistics in a broader way.
The aim is to continue the positive development by strengthening the central team of Racking Solutions with a project design engineer. You will support the local market and sales companies in their daily business in cooperation with suppliers with whom Toyota Material Handling Europe has an agreement.

As a project design engineer in the business area of Racking Solutions, you will be our most important resource in this area of expertise. It includes that:

Toyota Material Handling Europe is active in more than 30 countries across Europe with a headquarter in Mjölby (Sweden). At our site in Mjölby, 3,000 employees work with material handling from development concepts to produced vehicles. We also have a European office outside Brussels and factories in Ancenis (France), Bologna (Italy), and Mjölby (Sweden).
You will now be a key person in our business area racking solutions and will help design and calculate various Racking Solutions to support our approximately 18 sales and marketing companies in Europe who are doing this on a daily basis.
Your main focus will initially be to creating internal and external networks with all the marketing and sales companies and on a daily basis you will mainly work close with the local Racking teams and suppliers. You will report to the Manager Racking Solutions. We operate internationally and, in the beginning, the position also includes business travel to suppliers/manufacturers in Europe.

Since you will manage design projects and are expected to build good relations with various stakeholders, we see that you have good communication skills and a strong service mind. You are fluent in English, both spoken and written, and another language is an advantage.
In addition, you have the ability to analyze complex issues and make rational assessments in order to drive work forward. You follow a clear vision, strategy, and work across our departments with good collaboration and support. You enjoy working to find and create new solutions in an innovative environment where you achieve great results.
