The logistics Planning and Engineering team for Nordics and Ireland has currently eight members placed in Copenhagen and Dublin and is now planning to expand the team with two members in Stockholm. You will be part of a well-functioned and strong team that continuously help each other with cross-country issues and best practises and where your primary working language is English.
In your role you´ll also have the opportunity to influence the largest implementation in the logistics industry ever – the merger between FedEx and TNT and initially spend a lot of time making this merger go as smooth as possible.
THIS IS WHAT YOU WILL DO
In the role as a Logistics Engineer at FedEx you will be handling both complex strategic issues as well as minor improvements in operations. Your main work tasks will include:

FedEx is looking to hire two full-time Logistics Engineers permanently. The position also includes going on business trips to FedEx and TNT locations in Sweden and across the Nordics, and sometimes also Amsterdam and Frankfurt for training and collaboration with regional teams. You´ll work at the office in Arlanda or at the office in Upplands Väsby.
WHO ARE YOU?
We think you have a Bachelor´s degree or higher professional qualification in Industrial Engineering or related quantitative discipline (i.e. Statistics, Economics, Finance). You also have previous experience from similar roles and have good knowledge of logistics and/or process optimization. You have preferably worked in an analytical role with number crunching in Excel or databases such as SQL. You are a strong Excel user with a passion for numbers and facts. We think you have a background as an analyst or as a statistician in engineering, finance or logistics. Since the company language is English it is required to have good communication skills in English. Knowledge in Swedish is a plus but not a requirement.
As a person you are self-driven, thorough and flexible. You are good with numbers and like to work with a lot of different people with both strategic and operational issues. You like working on different projects and are motivated to find the best solution for a problem.
