SEB Trainee: Business developer, Corporate Banking

Working as a Business Developer in Corporate Banking at SEB in Stockholm you will have the opportunity to work with some of SEB´s largest and most important clients. As a Business Developer you will have dynamic tasks, a high level of personal responsibility and the opportunity to drive your own activities.

Simultaneously with working in the role being recruited to, you will participate in SEB´s International Trainee Programme, which gives you the opportunity to develop an extensive network within the bank, gain a deep understanding of the international financial industry and be professionally and personally challenged.

Your Trainee Position and Your Team

SEB Corporate Banking works with the largest Nordic corporates to support their business from our home markets in the Nordics, Germany, the UK and our international sites in Asia and the US. We explore new technologies and ecosystems with customers and partners, build strategies as well as own and develop our integration offering to partners and customers. You will be part of Corporate Banking Ecosystem management and will work closely with the Cach management, Trade Finance and Asset solutions units.

As a Business Developer, you will, among other things, drive strategic initiatives connected to the data area by working with stakeholders from client organisations, sales, product management, tech and senior management to set and align a strategy. You will drive proofs of concept with clients and partners and share learnings with the corporate banking organization. You will also work closely with product management to implement our data agenda into our offering.

Your Required Skills

We are looking for you with passion for business and a changing environment. We like you to challenge us, now and for the future. We are looking for you who:

• Have an academic degree in Engineering, Data Science, Finance, Economics or equivalent
• Have graduated before programme start or within the last three years
• It is meritorious if you have some work experience
• Fluent in written and spoken English and Swedish

To thrive in this role, you have a high level of curiosity, drive and independence. You are humble, open and not afraid of trying things out even if not always successful. Your communication skills are good and you have the ability to gain the trust of the people you communicate with. In addition, you have the ability to abstract complexity to an appropriate level for different stakeholders.
