SEB trainee: Client Services Manager in Stockholm

Working as a Client Services Manager and participating in SEB’s International Trainee Programme will give you a unique opportunity to develop your professional skills in a modern and innovative company.

In your role at Investor Services you will be a part of a competent team in a fast-paced environment with the aim to constantly find ways to improve the client experience of SEB’s Derivatives Clearing offering. SEB offers clearing of derivatives of different asset classes on the global markets to SEB’s Nordic institutional and corporate clients. The team is located both in Stockholm and in London, and you will work at our office on Kungsträdgården in Stockholm.

YOUR TRAINEE POSITION AND YOUR TEAM

In your role as a trainee in Derivatives Clearing, you will encounter a wide range of products including but not limited to futures and options in equities, interest rates, foreign exchange and commodities. The team of Client Services Managers, divided between Stockholm and London, is the SEB client´s main point of contact with regards to queries about their derivatives clearing activity. You and your colleagues will deal with finding solutions to a great variety of problems. Some problems will be quick to investigate, and others will be more challenging to overcome. You will often find yourself in situations where you need help and input from your colleagues and seek to bounce ideas off each other. The operations management is conducted by our sister team in Riga.

In addition to the daily interaction with the client you will constantly aim to find ways to optimise the processes and improve the client experience of our offering to ensure that SEB delivers world class service. The role also involves supporting sales, product management and IT organisation in matters related to Derivatives Clearing.

It is a plus if you have experience leading projects, working with customer service or other service areas and studying or working abroad.

You should be comfortable working in a high-paced environment where the day-to-day work is varied and enjoy being challenged by and solving problems. We are looking for someone with strong communication skills since dialogue with clients and colleagues is frequent. To succeed in this role, you must be able to work independently and prioritise between several tasks. The spirit in the team also involves cooperation and helping others.
