Quality Engineer – Coherent – Stockholm

Coherent in Järfälla, Stockholm is looking for a Quality Engineer. This is a great opportunity for you with experience as a Quality Engineer from a manufacturing company to contribute with your knowledge in quality, ISO and corrective actions. Your Responsibilities

  • Manage and work to continuously improve the Quality Management System (ISO 9001)
  • Work with reporting and follow-up of KPI´s
  • Corrective actions and ensure that measures are in line with ongoing "Coherent Global Quality Transformation"
  • Work as an internal auditor, coordinate internal and external ISO audits
  • Actively participate in and follow up customer audits and external audits according to ISO 9001 and 14001
  • Process owner for corrective and preventive measures (8D methodology, FMEA)

As a Quality Engineer, you collaborate with colleagues in all our production areas in our wafer fabrication in Järfälla. You have flexible working hours and we also offer the opportunity to work from home.

You report to the Quality & Reliability Manager.

Our Expectations

We are looking for you with relevant post-secondary education and with experience as a Quality Engineer in the manufacturing industry - preferably from a regulatory business. You have knowledge of ISO 9001 and 14001. It is advantageous if you have knowledge of any statistical analysis tool. As you will be working in an international context, we are looking for you who have good knowledge of spoken and written English. Knowledge of Swedish is preferable.

You are accurate in your work and have a structured way of working. You are good at driving your own work forward and thrive in an independent role. You take initiatives and make sure you meet your deadlines. You are good at building relationships and the ability to communicate. You are motivated by being part of a team where it is natural to share your knowledge and take advantage of others´.
