Working as an IT Business Developer and participating in SEB’s International Trainee Programme will give you a unique opportunity to develop your professional skills in a modern and innovative company.
In your role at Corporate Functions & International Sites, you will be part of a professional team with the purpose to drive various improvements and strategic initiatives in a business critical and international part of SEB. You will be part of a change journey that will bring a deep understanding of the IT side of Finance, Risk, Compliance and HR as well as of the IT units around the world. As an IT Business Developer, you will have close collaboration with different stakeholders across SEB that will bring you a broad and valuable network, as well as opportunities to travel.

YOUR TRAINEE POSITION AND YOUR TEAM
As an IT Business Developer you will be part of Cross Area Function, a small department at the core of Corporate Functions & International Sites which consists of approximate 300 staff in 16 countries. Your and your colleagues´ role is to ensure that the area Corporate Functions & International Sites is compliant, well-functioning and makes measurable progress on its challenging change agenda in a complex and increasingly digital environment. You have a close collaboration with a variety of stakeholders, such as department managers, IT Architects and the rest of the Technology organisation, to identify needs and drive change by leading various initiatives closely linked to the IT strategy and goals.
More specifically, this means that you will conduct business cases and ad-hoc investigations of the IT application usage, processes and staffing. You will work with efficiency initiatives of varying size and duration as well as follow-up of business plan goals. Along with this comes the role to inspire and educate colleagues through workshops and internal communication, as well as the opportunity to visit the SEB offices around the world.

Moreover, you have the ability to see others´ point of view and bring new ideas, as well as an interest in IT.
