UX Designer to SVT PLAY in Stockholm

SVT Play in Stockholm is now looking for a data driven UX designer who wants to work with a product which has many users!

At SVT Play you will be working with a well-known product with almost four million users per week. As a UX designer, you will be able to contribute your own ideas to improve the user experience!

THE OPPORTUNITY

You will be part of the Content Discovery Team working closely with other teams and the editors at SVT Play. Together with your colleagues, you will among other things work to improve our algorithms and recommendations in our platforms. Working within Public Service means that the focus is not on generating revenue, but our goal is to improve the experience for our users. As a UX designer you will have a central role in this work, and you will have freedom to take your own initiative.

You will be given a key role in the Content Discovery Team at SVT Play. Among other things, you will:

THE TEAM AND WORK PLACE

At SVT Play there are five teams and you will belong to the Content Discovery Team. This is a cross-functional team consisting of developers, analysts and product owners. You will have the opportunity to work with UX designers and AD´s from the four other teams, where you together strive to develop our product. We work agile, with two-week sprints. The entire SVT Play sits together with the rest of SVT at Gärdet, Stockholm.

ABOUT YOU

You are a driven UX designer who is passionate about creating a world class product together with your colleagues! In this role you will collaborate with many colleagues and we would like if you enjoy working in teams, is good at communicating in Swedish or English and likes sharing your knowledge with others. We also want you to be structured and analytical, since much of the role will be seeing user flows and finding patterns. Experience of user tests, user research and workshops will come in handy here.

Furthermore, it would be good if you have an interest in machine learning and have experience in impact mapping. The most important thing, however, is your drive and motivation to learn new things in order to do a good job.
