Your Responsibilities

• In collaboration with the customer´s operations and maintenance personnel, analyses the technical performances of the systems and the efficiency of the maintenance plan and processes, promoting action plans to improve them.
• Develops or modifies the work instructions and processes from the maintenance plan and maintenance manuals.
• Allocate tasks to the application or services engineering team for system modifications, where appropriate, and manages the execution of those tasks to ensure follow-up.
• Owns the configuration and design change management activities for the services contract, including assuring that the application or Services engineering and training teams update the technical documentation, and coordinates updated training sessions for the customer´s application.
• Leads the engineering team, including the customer stakeholders, in the certification processes when system modifications are required.
• Supports the customer´s safety management system, and engages the appropriate CAF-Euromaint resources to ensure safety risks identified during system operations or upgrades are mitigated in a timely manner.
• Manages the Obsolescence Plan for the customer and supports cost reduction actions with sourcing and industrial.
• Sets-up and follows standardized and continuous site reliability improvement plans, proactively surveying and promoting improving actions.
• Captures and ensures ownership of regulations and standards to be applied.
• Assures efficient parts codification in line with Platform rules: materials identification, codification process, interfaces with CAF-Euromaint systems, quality, and normative requirements.

The Bigger Picture

This is a new project where Euromaint will be responsible for providing warranty for CAF trains. This warranty will be integrated into Krösatåg operations, as preventive maintenance is a part of the contractual agreement with Krösatåg. The arrival of the CAF trains is accompanied by a contractual agreement between Transitio, Euromaint and SJ.

Our Expectations

• Bachelor´s degree in Engineering, Electronics, Computer Science.
• good experience in railway systems or relevant experience in high level projects.
• Hands on experience at a rail site installing, testing, commissioning, or maintaining rolling stock equipment strongly desired.
• Working knowledge of safety management systems and safety risk assessment.
• Proficient in the use of MS Office, SAP, etc.
• Good skills in negotiation.
• Availability to work in different shifts if the project needs it.
• Driving license and car.
• Strong collaborative skills and the ability to work in a team.
• Results and customer oriented. 
• Analytical with a high level of technical understanding.
