Your Responsibilities

What you will do:

• Execute all sourcing activities
• Issue RFQ´s, negotiate an optimal cost level for your areas of responsibility and carry out contract negotiations and management.
• Contribute to regional KPI target fulfillment.
• Interact as key contact with the stakeholders.
• Contribute to the development of the segment strategy and purchasing process to support the company´s strategic objectives.
• Bring together innovations on his/her segments.

The Bigger Picture

You will be based in Gothenburg and you will work with their plants in: Köping, Skövde, Tuve, Umeå, Borås, Arvika, Hallsberg etc. Therefore, this role requires some occasional travels to mentioned locations and to some of the company´s suppliers.

The group is diverse and consists of various types of culture and people, and we see that you are comfortable working with everybody.

This is a consulting assignment, which means that you will work for our client but be employed by us during the assignment.

Our Expectations

To become our next Commodity Buyer, we believe you have these qualifications:

• Bachelor´s degree in Science, Engineering or Business Administration
• Fluent in English and Swedish (in speech and writing)
• Strong Negotiation skills
• Experience of working with Total Cost of Ownership (TCO), driving cost improvement opportunities
• Project management knowledge
• Motivated by change management and ability to drive change
• Agile & flexible
• Communication skills and strong interest to develop good relationships with stakeholders and team
