SEB Trainee: Strategic Business Analyst

Working as a Strategic Business Analyst in Costumer Growth at SEB in Stockholm you will lead smaller and complex projects in areas where the focus is on the customer experience. You will be an important player for maintaining the transformation agenda of Customer Growth as well as driving the development forward. This position in the trainee program is a great start if you are interested in developing your advisory skills.

Simultaneously with working in the role being recruited to, you will participate in SEB´s International Trainee Programme, which gives you the opportunity to develop an extensive network within the bank, gain a deep understanding of the international financial industry and be professionally and personally challenged.

Your Trainee Position and Your Team

The main purpose of Customer Growth is to attract, develop and retain prioritized customers to ensure development of customer base and related revenue in line with long term growth targets. In your role within Customer Growth, you will work as an advisor to the division in the areas of information management, analytics, customer experience, marketing and CRM (Customer Relationship Management). You will also work with big data and advanced analytics, such as predictive models and segmentation. The role also involves proactively ensuring customer insight-driven business development at all levels within the C&PC - Corporate & Private Customer division. Your team consists of senior colleagues who will support you in your daily work. The role will give you the experience of becoming a skilled advisor where you continuously will develop.

Your Required Skills

We are looking for you with passion for business and a changing environment. We like you to challenge us, now and for the future. We are looking for you who:

  • Have an academic degree in Industrial economics, Mechanical engineering, Mathematics, or a relevant engineering education in a related field.
  • Have graduated before programme start or within the last three years
  • It is meritorious if you have some work experience
  • Fluent in written and spoken English and Swedish

You have an analytical mindset, in order to understand and analyse complex issues. As an analyst, you will have many internal and external contacts, so you must have excellent communication skills. You are a person who enjoys problem-solving. This role requires good strategic skills, and you will need to have a genuine interest in developing a good understanding of customers´ behaviour, attitudes, and needs, as well as develop a good knowledge of SEB´s business and product areas. Most importantly, you have high ambitions and are keen to develop within our team.
