Take the next step in your security technology career as a Solution Specialist at Securitas in Malmö. You will join a senior specialist team in an international environment, working to develop, test and improve security solutions for Securitas operations across Europe.

In this role, you will use your experience in intrusion alarm systems and access control, ideally combined with knowledge of video/VMS. You will work in a broad specialist role that combines technical problem-solving, hands-on lab work, solution development and international collaboration.

Your Responsibilities

As a Solution Specialist you will work broadly with technical support security solutions, innovation and development. 

Your responsibilities will include:

• Act as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) for standardized and integrated security systems and solutions 
• Support Securitas operations across Europe with technical expertise in intrusion alarm systems and access control, as well as video/VMS 
• Troubleshoot complex technical issues and integrations between different security systems 
• Test and validate security solutions and integrations in lab and test environments 
• Collaborate with suppliers and internal specialists on technical solutions and development 
• Participate in innovation initiatives, pilot projects and proof-of-concepts 
• Support security solutions throughout their lifecycle, including upgrades, changes and improvements 
• Develop technical documentation and support material for the organization

The Bigger Picture

The position is based at Securitas in Jägersro, Malmö, close to the Securitas Experience Center. The role belongs to Commercial & Solutions Europe and is part of the European Solution Center of Excellence.

The role is mainly office-based, with the possibility to work from home two days per week.

You will join a team of senior specialists with broad expertise in security technology, VMS, integrated security solutions and technical development. The culture is open, collaborative and knowledge-driven, with a strong focus on teamwork, ownership and continuous learning.

Our Expectations

We are looking for someone with several years of experience in the security industry and a broad, hands-on understanding of security systems. You may have worked as a security technician, installer, systems technician or in a similar technical role, with experience in installing, configuring, commissioning and troubleshooting security systems.

To succeed in the role, you should have a strong background in intrusion alarm systems and access control. Knowledge of video/VMS is considered an advantage, as is experience with more complex solutions where different security systems are integrated. A technical education is beneficial but not essential. What matters most is your hands-on expertise, broad technical knowledge and solid understanding of security solutions.

You are curious, self-driven and solution-oriented, with the ability to quickly learn new technologies and areas. As the role involves international collaboration, you need to be fluent in English, both spoken and written. Swedish is an advantage.
