But our unbiased recruitment process helps us find talents with the right skills. Unbiased recruitment, or objective recruitment, is something we really believe in. And it’s not a PR ploy. We know the value of challenging unconscious bias and instead focusing on potential and competency during the recruiting and staffing process. And we do it for real. Sounds too good to be true? Well, the unbiased methodology TNG has developed is based on over 15 years of development and research. It is data-driven, structured and competency-based hiring. And it is turning the traditional recruitment process on its head and challenging the HR and recruitment industry.

We are all prejudiced

Our experience after many years of working with recruitment, staffing and diversity is that nothing will change until we realize that all people have prejudice and hold preconceived opinions. It is not just about discrimination, but rather that we all carry our past experiences with us. And this often makes us look for candidates that fit our own frame of reference. For this reason, it is easier to choose a candidate who is like ourselves and makes us feel safe. Rather than choosing someone who is different. Quite simply, it’s easier to go on ”gut feeling”, and this is something you definitely should not do!
